Artists Statement
My watercolor vistas include views of Tuscon hillsides, open market day, Southwest adobe structures, California wine country, and local farm views and barns. I also paint portraits of children and landscapes in watercolor.
Resume
I have degrees from St. John's University and from the State University of New York. After working in oil for many years, I began to study the techniques and theory of watercolor painting.
Through the years I have had many mentors including Laura Lasworth, Wendell Mohr, Jim Ochs, Christopher Schink, David Garrison, Susan St. Thomas, Marcia Wegman and Cecile Houel.

Iowa Pastel Society, Sebastabol Center for the Arts, CA, TWSA, Watercolor, Society of Sonoma County, Healdsburg Plaza Arts Center, CA.
I have shown art work at the Sebastabol Center, Oakmont Annual Exhibit, and Iowa City Annual Senior Center Art Exhibit.
